IMPORTANT DATES/EVENTS IN BELL
The City of Bell is hosting a number of community meetings to discuss services and city finances this month.
The first one is tonight at 5pm to discuss the City of Bell DIAL-A-RIDE TRANSPORTATION SERVICE - There is a consideration to change providers which can affect the type of service residents are currently getting.
See all the events below...If you have any questions please contact the City of Bell directly at (323) 923-2642.
We strongly encourage you all to help spread the word and more importantly attend. This is your time to make sure your tax dollars are being spent wisely. The New city council and administrators are doing their part to implement better practices and improve transparency, but without community engagement the government process doesn't work well. Good government is a partnership and if the community doesn’t participate we are likely to fall prey to Rizzo like predators -- maybe not today but down the road. Let's never forget, let's always stay vigilant and engaged.
Like the saying says, “First time shame on them, Second time shame on us.”
All meetings will take place at the Community Center
